Vine Whip (Japanese: つるのムチ Vine Whip) is a Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation I that deals very little damage.

Effect

Generation I-III

Vine Whip does damage, and it has 10 PP.

Generation IV

Vine Whip's PP is Add to 15. All other effects are the same.

Bulbasaur. Two vines come out of Bulbasaur's bulb and hit the opponent.

Venusaur. Two vines come out from under the leaves on its back and hit the opponent.

Chikorita. Two vines come from its bud necklace and hit the opponent.

Bayleef. Two vines come from its bud necklace and hit the opponent.

Victreebel. It uses its single vine to strike or ensnare the opponent.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Vine Whip is Ivysaur's Special Up move.
