(Japanese: 開幕!シンオウリーグ・スズラン大会!! Raise the Curtain! Shin'ō League - Suzuran Tournament!!) is the 183rd episode of the Diamond & Pearl series, and the 649th episode of the Pokémon anime. It aired in Japan on July 1, 2010.
Synopsis
Ash's opponent in the first battle round is Nando, the Pokémon minstrel. He is a talent who also entered the Sinnoh Grand Festival and had a fierce battle against Zoey. Nando, specialized in Template:Type2 and Template:Type2, sends out Roserade as his first Pokémon. Ash sends out Staraptor who has a type advantage.
But it is Nando and Roserade who take the initiative first. With their unique rhythm and strategy, they attack in angry waves Staraptor is unable to grasp.
