Please don't remove the hanja. They're placed there to make the meaning less ambiguous. On a related note, changing city to shiti is taking it too literally. :::Yeah We could bring it up on the forums and see what other people think, but I personnally like the template with the pictures one. :Hey kids. Don't mind me, just come from the pits of hell to see how you were doing with all of this. And might I say, do you really need all of the pictures? I mean some of them aren't even towns, their just locations, and even the in-game locations don't have pictures. Although you love the pictures oh so very much, it is making the page too bulky. Just have their names in a table like in the Sinnoh article. It will save a lot of time and incomplete tags.--<span style="color:#0000FF;">Clarky</span><span style="color:#000000;">13</span> 02:54, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
::Definitely not a kid (I'm almost 20 LOL. I needed to say that, just sayin'). Anyway, while the pictures may be taking up space, the descriptions also take up ALOT of space. If a person wanted to read more information about a certain town, they could just click on the link and find out more about it. For me, I'm a very visual person, if I see a picture and I'm interersted in it, I would go to that page. I know everyone is different, so I'm not speaking for Bulbapedia, only for me. Also, your statement, "the in-game locations don't have pictures" - is false. Unless you're talking about the anime version of the towns? Han Ji-Wan 14:25, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
:::The combination of Pictures and descriptions may be bulkly, but they do look organised. I added a template like the one on Sinnoh to the Unova just as a place holder until we fully decide things. Welcome

Bulbapedia logo.png
Welcome to Bulbapedia, Han Ji-Wan!

Here are a few links to help you get started:

The Manual of Style, or MoS, outlines the format of all pages on Bulbapedia.

Our friendly team of staff are here to help! Talk to them if you have any questions or problems with Bulbapedia.

On talk pages, please sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~), or by using the "Your signature with a timestamp" (button_sig.png) button at the top of the edit window.

On Bulbapedia, the ability to edit personal userpages is a privilege. Per our userpage policy, this must be earned by first making constructive edits to the mainspace. Once you can, remember to keep userspace edits (edits to User:Han Ji-Wan) to a minimum.

For a complete list of policies and editing advice, please see the Welcome Portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Resigning

As per the talk page policy, if you forget to sign your comment initially, you cannot resign it later, because it messes up the time stamp. --SnorlaxMonster 02:08, 10 January 2011 (UTC)

Okay, thank you! Sorry for the mistake!--Han Ji-Wan 03:09, 10 January 2011 (UTC)

Poké Centers

They are actually called Pokémon Centers. --SnorlaxMonster 05:05, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

Thank you for letting me know! :D --Han Ji-Wan 05:27, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

Population

Not trying to be rude, but where are you getting this population numbers because I see you've changed a few of them after adding them. --HoennMaster 05:16, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

I've counted them in the games. I have the patience to do that, somehow. :O --Han Ji-Wan 05:29, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
Then how come you have seven here, but eleven here? --HoennMaster 04:55, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
There are bound to be mistakes. I will correct it this weekend, I don't have my DS with me. :/ --Han Ji-Wan 05:19, 13 January 2011 (UTC)

Hi, I just want to ask how have you counted the population of Castelia City, since there are streets where people keep appearing/disappearing. This could mean that the population is so big that main streets keep crowded, like in New York, Tokyo, etc, don't you think? Or are you just supposing there's a pattern where the same person keeps walking the same street? --Blow (話す) 13:05, 19 January 2011 (UTC)

Sorry, I've just seen the talk page of Castelia City, forget what I pointed above. --Blow (話す) 13:13, 19 January 2011 (UTC)
Tis okay. If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask me amything. :D--Han Ji-Wan 14:52, 19 January 2011 (UTC)

Since you are fixing "names" to "in other languages"...

For the Pokémon articles, can you please restore name origin and remove the English and Japanese names from the table? Another user has gone around and removed a section which wasn't meant to be removed, and is inaccurate when the section is titled "in other languages", since Japanese and English are the two languages which are not "other". --SnorlaxMonster 03:50, 17 January 2011 (UTC)

Yes, I can do that. :]--Han Ji-Wan 03:53, 17 January 2011 (UTC)
Did I do it right for Bulbasaur's Name Origin?--Han Ji-Wan 04:08, 17 January 2011 (UTC)
Origin should be lowercase because titles are in sentence case (so "Name origin"). And you don't really need to include the kana in the name origin section. --SnorlaxMonster 04:21, 17 January 2011 (UTC)
Okay thank you.--Han Ji-Wan 04:24, 17 January 2011 (UTC)
Even if the name is the same as English/Japanese, please don't remove it from in other languages. In the origin section note that it is the same as English/Japanese/both. --SnorlaxMonster 04:46, 17 January 2011 (UTC)
Oops, my bad. I'll ask you next time I'm unsure of what to do. I wasn't thinking especially since it's "In other languages".--Han Ji-Wan 04:49, 17 January 2011 (UTC)

Templates

Hey, how's it going? Nice to meet you. Sure you can use my templates. Which ones are you interested in? I only ask because some of them I created, and some of them I didn't, so if you use them, you should give credit to the person that created them. TTYL --JediKnightDTV 17:46, 17 January 2011 (UTC)

Hey, I just wanted to get back to you. Yeah, feel free to use my nav template. No, you probably don't need to give credit to Turtwig, he even said I didn't need to give him credit, but if you want to credit him, it is up to you. As for crediting me, either way, I really have no preference. If you need help with the coding or anything, feel free to drop me a line on my talkpage, and I will be more than happy to help. BTW, it is considered common courtesy around here to can continue a conversation on one talkpage. That way, it is easier to keep track of the whole conversation. To do this, just click on the little blue "Edit" next to a section that is already started, rather than starting a new section for every reply. Then just put a colon in front of your reply (or one more colon than the last reply). That way, it is simple and easy to keep track of the conversation, by the amount of indents. You can also (if it gets too indented, like half of the page or more) do what is called "resetting the indent" and just type "resetting indent" before your reply (and obviously, don't put any colons, so as not to indent). Oh and according to the rules around here your signature needs to do two things 1) Reference your actual username in some way (i.e. it can be an abbreviation of your username, but it can't be something completely different) and 2) It needs to link to your userpage, and preferably to your usertalk page as well. Anyways, I don't want to sound like I am being all mean or bossy or anything, so I apologize if that is the way I came off. Just trying to help you out a little bit here, since you seem like you are new to me. P.S. What did you mean by "Why do you have two different usertalk pages?" As far as I know, I only have one, just like every other user, the one that is linked to in my sig. Anyways, TTYL. --JediKnightDTV 06:35, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
Okay, awesome. Thank you for letting me use it. Of course, I understand the basic rules. I don't know what made me start a new conversation. I only did because you didn't continue the conversation on your talkpage. Yeah, I'm totally confused. I wanted to change my Username to Gummy Spider, instead of Han Ji-Wan. I don't know how to do that. :/ But yeah, that's a new rule that I didn't hear of. So thank you for informing me. :D Trust me, you don't sound bossy or mean. You're just trying to help me, and I appreciate that. :] What I meant by two different usertalk pages... Is that you have one in your under your one of your navigation button and another one that's at the very top of your page called "discussion", in between "user page" and "edit this page". Correct me if I'm wrong, isn't discussion and usertalk the same thing? Knowing me, I may be wrong. D:--Gummy Spider 07:04, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
No problem. I am always happy to help out new users. Now that I think about it, I WAS the one to start the convo on your page, MY BAD :)! If you would like to change your username, talk to a senior admin. I believe that they have the power to do that, or if they don't they can direct you to a staff member who can. As far as talk pages go, you are right, discussion pages are the talk pages for the page that they are attached to. They can be for any page though, in the userspace for a userpage, or in the mainspace for an article. If you have a change you would like to make to an article (for example a question that you are unsure of about the subject of the article), the article's discussion page is the place to ask it. That way, we can avoid needless edit warring (i.e. you change something, someone else changes it back, etc.). TTYL --JediKnightDTV 01:30, 19 January 2011 (UTC)

Cool down

RELAX. We talked about this already, but you didn't get the message. Drop the ego! I don't mind if you bring up a topic for discussion, but you have to dial it back. -- MAGNEDETH 03:40, 19 January 2011 (UTC)

About editing the Orre region in Region page.

Thats what I was thinking ( about Orre not being a main region) but the bottom link table thing lists Orre in the "main series". I don't know how to edit that box, so I figured I'd just tell you that it's there and needs to be moved to "side games".Tokeupdude 18:33, 5 February 2011 (UTC)

Actually, I don't have the power to do that... At least, I think so. But yeah, Orre should definitely not fit in the "main series" category. There's no Pokemon League. It's connection with the other 5 main regions and Sevii Islands are not connected in no way at all, other than through the use of a special trading device. Anyway, you should contact Clarky13, who is the head of the project, I believe. --Han Ji-Wan 00:25, 6 February 2011 (UTC)

Note

If you check out the response on my talk page, and Maverick Nate's edit for Mario136‎'s talk page, and Kenji-girl's edits if regards to those two B/W playable character pages you'll see I did nothing wrong. -Tyler53841 05:17, 7 February 2011 (UTC)

I have no idea what you're talking about.. Specify a bit more, please? --Han Ji-Wan 05:23, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
Both the edits to Touya and Touko pages submitted from Mario136 were removed by Kenji-girl due to them not being confirmed and both pages were protected which is also why I had to revert his edit on the playable characters page, and send him a warning message since he was making edits like that to stop him from posting up edits that this site has not officially confirmed yet. Maverick Nate also sent Mario136 a message on in regards to this mistake. I think your opinions on my actions in regard to this were slightly misinterpreted since I was only trying to uphold the rules of avoiding unconfirmed English names from remaining posted. -Tyler53841 05:30, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
I'm really lost. All I can remember is undoing Mario136's edit on Kanoko Town. He/she changed every Kanoko Town to Nuvema Town. So I undid it because it's not confirmed by an official source, and it's not even in the BW Mall Tour demo... I didn't form an opinion on your actions... At least I think so... Lol... I'm soooo lostttt. Am I missing something?? --Han Ji-Wan 05:34, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
Go to Mario136's talk page and view the comment Maverick Nate made and also he was complaining about my revert on the playable characters page which I did due to what happened on the Touya and Touko pages. -Tyler53841 05:45, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
Okay, what do you want me to do? --Han Ji-Wan 05:52, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
I pretty much gave out everything I have said but the my final point is to also take time to think more carefully first and be more observant before jumping to conclusions and that what you said to me on my talk forum was just a misunderstanding since this all started because I am was removing unconfirmed English names. This matter to me is now closed -Tyler53841 05:56, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
Okay, whatever you say. I still don't see how I misunderstood and jumped to a conclusion. --Han Ji-Wan 06:03, 7 February 2011 (UTC)

Arti

On your revert for the Arti page, that user had already reverted his edit but not to worry since I fixed that mistake. I'll have to admit I was confused too at first, but it was a good thing that Michaelgoffmillet already reverted his own edit. -Tyler53841 19:57, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

I noticed. But you had already undid my mistake. Thank you. :] --Han Ji-Wan 19:59, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

Largest. CIty

Nimbasa City has 150 people but in Castelia City people constantly regenorate it is debated which is largest, what's wrong with that, is it too factual? I am only saying, people deserve knowledge over mist popular, do you agree?--Italay90 11:49, 23 February 2011 (UTC)

Be careful, when creating a new section in anyone's talkpage, put it at the VERY END.
Yeah, it constantly regenerates. We cannot count it. It'll go on forever, there needs to be some sort of limit. There is already knowledge. However, we are only counting the ones that are stationary. Those that are stationary, COUNTS. --Han Ji-Wan 15:08, 23 February 2011 (UTC)

Etymology

Please explain this to me. If the edit for at least an attempt to expand the design concept for Unova doesn't belong, where does it belong? Keep it mind that similar edits for other regions fall under the design concept category. BrokenMotor 00:39, 30 April 2011 (UTC)

My apologies, I misunderstood what "Etymology/Design Concept" was. I will undo my edit. Sorry for misunderstanding. :] Han Ji-Wan 01:42, 30 April 2011 (UTC)

Edit summary etiquette

I appreciate you reverting vandalism, but please remember proper edit summary etiquette and refrain from making comments such as "DIE", even if you're reverting a vandal, as it does not look well. Thanks for your help though! Jellotalk 07:00, 4 May 2011 (UTC)

Hanja

Please don't remove the hanja. They're placed there to make the meaning less ambiguous. On a related note, changing city to shiti is taking it too literally. It's an English word, and transcription to Korean isn't exact. Besides, we don't write シティ as "shiti", since it is intended to be "city". --神智の超龍對話 04:34, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for fixing my goof up on the History of the Pokémon world pagé. I never knew. Pikatwig 01:13, 10 July 2011 (UTC)

"Shities"

Why did you Engrish-ify all Korean city names? Why "Beullu Shiti"? Not to mention that the romanization is incorrect, there's no "sh" sound in Korean at all. English-derived Korean names are supposed to be treated in the same way as English-derived Japanese names. They should be spelt the English way. You really didn't have to torture us with monstrosities "Beullu Shiti". Now I'm reverting all those "Shities" back to normal. --Maxim 16:05, 15 July 2011 (UTC)

Excuse me? If anything... Blue City is actually "engrish-ifying" the romanization. There's nothing wrong with the romanization. Koreans do actually pronounce "sh" instead of "s"... And please limit your condescending words, I will not tolerate it and I'm certain Bulbapedia wouldn't either. Han Ji-Wan 22:26, 15 July 2011 (UTC)

Anime Exclusive Locations

Each main series region article has an incomplete list of anime exclusive locations. I have been trying to add to them but it seems not many people are. I noticed you did in the Kanto article. Can you please encourage people to complete those lists. ZMT123 04:07, 8 August 2011 (UTC)

I can try to do that including the project leader, Clarky13. I can also try to help. In the next day or so, if no one else does it, I can do it for the other regions and add more locations and descriptions. It will take time but it'll get done eventually. Han Ji-Wan 05:53, 8 August 2011 (UTC)

I think the anime exclusive locations in each main series region article should be listed like Sinnoh's. It saves a lot of space. ZMT123 16:32, 9 August 2011 (UTC)

I actually like the ones with the picture's better. Sinnoh's and Unova's Anime exclusive lists still need to be changed to match them. I'll be willing to help with them if you want me to. --Pokemaster97 19:35, 9 August 2011 (UTC)
I'm not sure on what to do. Clarky13 suggested that we show the name of locations and descriptions of each locations. I think our goal is to have a standardized template for each of the regions' anime-exclusive locations. We all need to compromise on what to include and ultimately what works best. Should we try to take this discussion to the forums so that the members can give their inputs on what we can do? Han Ji-Wan 00:36, 10 August 2011 (UTC)
Yeah We could bring it up on the forums and see what other people think, but I personnally like the template with the pictures one. Other than that I really don't know what to do until we get a compromise. --Pokemaster97 00:40, 10 August 2011 (UTC)
I actually like the pictures as well, but it takes up so much space that it stretches the region's article (take a look at the Kanto page). You can go see Clarky13's user talk page (the last section) to see what he had to say about it. Han Ji-Wan 00:58, 10 August 2011 (UTC)

I see I guess were going to have to find a way to discuss this more. --Pokemaster97 01:08, 10 August 2011 (UTC)

Hey kids. It will save a lot of time and incomplete tags.--Clarky13 02:54, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
Definitely not a kid (I'm almost 20 LOL.
The combination of Pictures and descriptions may be bulkly, but they do look organised. I added a template like the one on Sinnoh to the Unova just as a place holder until we fully decide things. --Pokemaster97 14:33, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
Locations are different to cities/towns. I prefer the name-only list, but if you want to design a template that will work effectively with the article, I'll be happy to evaluate it.--Clarky13 14:47, 12 August 2011 (UTC)

I do appreciate and respect your suggestion Clarky13, just letting you know that. So, I will try to design a template and show it to you as soon as I can get it to work. Maybe someone else can help since I have little to no experience on designing templates. Han Ji-Wan 15:16, 12 August 2011 (UTC)

None

I know it's silly, but if you leave your held item field blank for your party templates, it will still say "None", only without it being off-centre and having the redirect to 000. Samjohn95 14:49, 13 August 2011 (UTC)

Thank you for pointing it out for me. :) Han Ji-Wan 20:41, 13 August 2011 (UTC)

Trivia

Can I revert Sui's simlar trivia edit to that other page? Truthseeker4449 00:43, 15 August 2011 (UTC)

Trivia cannot be added. So, I'm afraid you can't undo my edit. Also, I'm not a staff member, just a member who frequents on Bulbapedia. So asking me for permission is not required. Han Ji-Wan 00:48, 15 August 2011 (UTC)
Thats not what I mean he made a triva edit to EP072 very similar to the one you just reverted Truthseeker4449 00:51, 15 August 2011 (UTC)
There, gone. Have nice night. Truthseeker4449 00:53, 15 August 2011 (UTC)
Okay, that's fine. If you see someone adding trivial information, make sure you undo their edit (in a nice way). Do NOT undo an edit especially when it's by a staff member or when the editor is revising or deleting a piece of trivial information. Han Ji-Wan 00:56, 15 August 2011 (UTC)

Trivia

well Han, while i do think Transfinite's comment was unnecessary, and maybe even harsh, i think the best plan of attack is to report it to an admin rather than taking authority into your own hands. especially when you arent a staff member. watch your boundaries a bit. -- MAGNEDETH 03:56, 1 September 2011 (UTC)

Thank you for informing me. I will take your advice in the future. Han Ji-Wan 04:59, 1 September 2011 (UTC)

Hiougi City

About that page you made, someone had already made a userpage on it yesterday. --超龍對話 09:28, 13 April 2012 (UTC)

List of Pokémon by release date

Remember back in March last year when I said "If we could combine our pages, we might have a case to mainspace it. I'll get around to it soon"? Well, I finally got around to it. Check out User:SnorlaxMonster/Pokémon by release date if interested. --SnorlaxMonster 14:49, 20 January 2013 (UTC)

Your Piloswine's moves

Hey, man, I was looking at your SoulSilver team and your Piloswine has moves that it can't learn. Maybe it was a Golbat or something and you changed the Pokemon field to Piloswine? I dunno. Just letting you know. Porygon-man (talk) 22:57, 13 May 2014 (UTC)
