This card was released in the Plasma Storm expansion, originating from the Japanese Freeze Bolt expansion. In Japan, this card was reprinted as one of the BW-P Promotional cards, available as part of a ten card random pack released during the September 2012 Gym Challenge.

Trivia

This card's effect matches that of Warp Point, a card previously released many times in between the Gym Challenge expansion and the Majestic Dawn expansion.

The Escape Rope is an item featured in the Pokémon games. It allows the player character to easily escape from places such as caves.
