Charmeleon (Japanese: リザード Lizardo, German: Glutexo, French: Reptincel) is a Fire-type Pokémon.

Charmeleon comes with the Ability Blaze, which increases the power of Fire-type attacks by 50% once the Pokémon has less than one-third of its maximum HP.

Charmeleon evolves from Charmander starting at Level 16, and evolves into Charizard starting at Level 32.

Mateo used a Charmeleon to battle a Crystal Onix and make glass with.

Zippo, Ritchie's Charmander, evolved into a Charmeleon prior to EP221.

The young Samuel Oak had a Charmeleon in Pokémon 4Ever.

Charmeleon also appeared under the ownership of a trainer named Jimmy in AG092.

In the manga

In Pokémon Special, Green had a Charmeleon which had evolved from his Charmander. It has since evolved into Charizard.
