Question
Why have you scheduled this to be deleted? This page is very useful, you know, since we still have a lot of sprites to be fixed. UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 11:11, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
- This doesn't list anywhere near them all, and it's ridiculously huge and hard to load. I'll put a 1000-day delete timer on it, though. Now please, never make me have to look at this page again! TTEchidna 00:20, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
- That's a good point... Of course we could also remove all the sprites that are OK and make it a lot less resource-intensive. But which ones are missing on the table (except gender-difference Pokés)? UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 00:54, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
- Shiny. TTEchidna 10:28, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, I figured one day already that another one is needed both for shinies and back sprites. They aren't, though, as important as the front sprites, but I'll make tables for them as well in the future. UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 14:11, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
- 3000 images...my computer is yelling at me for making it try to load that page...Still, it is a good (if resource-eating) idea and very helpful to the people here. LordArceus 14:17, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
- Thankfully, the number of sprites on this page will be cut to some degree when I mark the genIII/IV Pokémon statuses, since at least RS sprites are all OK. We really need somebody to get us the animated sprites for DPPt. Also, somebody has to go through all Silver sprites again once more to fix their size (60x60 is wrong, 56x56 is correct). That means, the more fixing people do, the less images this page will have. (though ATM we have to wait for the Archives' problem to be fixed) UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 15:17, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

(Resetting indent)Plus, we have almost no Emerald shinies, waaaaay too many sprites are nontarnsparent, and about 80% of the Gen I sprites face the wrong way. We have a long way to go... LordArceus 15:22, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah. Probably the most annoying tasks are to get the missing animated sprites and the eternal image-flipping mayhem. UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 15:30, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
- I'm more worried about what this page can single-handedly do to the bandwidth costs of this site. Hide sections!--Raijinili 05:40, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
Crystal Sprites
I can transparent-ise the sprites, but some of the crystal sprites need resizing to fit into the dimensions of 64 x 64. --Spriteit 09:52, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
Crystal sprites need to be 56x56. --Baynium 00:31, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
Transparency Issues
I fixed some of the Crystal sprites, and they worked perfectly on my computer. But when I uploaded them and looked on here, they didn't work. The layers overlapped and you can see each layer. It happened with Kakuna and Weedle. But some other ones worked fine. All the settings are the same. Does anyone know why it's doing that? --Baynium 00:35, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
A resource with some sprites you need
I found a place with Platinum and D/P Unown sprites. DP: http://sfc.pokemon-inside.net/platinum.php?id=17 Pt: http://sfc.pokemon-inside.net/platinum.php?id=18
Those also have Arceus in all forms, shiny and not as well a Shaymin forms, Wormodam forms, Deoxys forms, Substitute sprites, Rotom forms ect... both shiny and not. I don't know if this will be useful to you but its there. Eric the espeon 17:33, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
Sprites
Do we have all the Trozei and Pinball images? ht14 18:50, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
After editing...
I would like to help out with the sprites (mainly by resizing and/or making them transparent). I know how to edit and reupload the sprites, but what should I do for this page? It's a userpage, or I would change it as I change the sprites. Goldenpoke111 23:32, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
Transparenting
I can do most of the transparenting, but Sandslash and Beedrill's Crystal sprites are beyond me, and for some reason the Sandslash Crystal sprite gets messed up when I open it in Pixen. I have done through Nidoran♂ and am working on Nidorino. When I get to Diglett, I will upload the ones I've done. (I'm doing them in numerical order.) --エルレイド 03:10, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
That's done... Next upload: Diglett through Kingler. --エルレイド 05:39, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
- Dugtrio is
hella pain in the assfrustrating. All those little one-pixel white spots on all 28 frames... That's what's taking so long on the update. --エルレイド 05:53, 24 June 2009 (UTC)- hm i think it cound a idea that we turn all gifs into animated png's ... so we have no problem with transparenting?
PS: possible i could help you with something? --Hanmac 16:05, 6 July 2009 (UTC)- That might be nice, but I prefer .gifs to animated .pngs. I cannot edit the .pngs (with anything I know, at least), and Internet Explorer doesn't animate them. Personally, I would vote for the exact opposite - making everything (like the 4th gen sprites) a .gif. Their transparency works well in them for something like this - a pixel being either completely opaque or completely transparent - and none of our uses approaches the color limit. Besides, transparentizing a .png is most likely not going to be any easier than doing the same to a .gif.
Galladeon: What program are you using? I like GIMP myself, and it has a nice tool for something like this. It selects everything of one color on the layer (the program is like Photoshop, but free), and you can delete it all at one time - after taking any pixels that should remain out of the selection. Sorry if we shouldn't be "advertising" programs!

Espeon
I just noticed Espeon's Ruby sprite has some incorrectly transparent spots in it while trying to recolor it for something. Can someone fix it/upload a new version? --エルレイド 07:02, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
- Done, except for possibly a pixel on the tail (outside the boundery - the shiny sprite has it, but sprites on some other sites, like Veekun, don't). Tc26 seems to have used the Serebii sprite, down to the off-white pixel in the fork of the tail, but that one does have the strange pixel. Goldenpoke111 22:20, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
About Castform...
On the page, you missed the fact that we're missing several Castform sprites. Dolphins are awesome (and Vulpix are too) 14:05, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
Sprite update
You should update it some... HGSS sprites have been uploaded, as well as some Crystal images and Unown... ht14 01:28, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
Transparent
How do you make the white background transparent on the sprites??--Lambie 06:29, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
000
What is the Pokémon #000 row for? There isn't a Pokémon with #000, apart from MissingNo. and maybe a few other hacked Pokémon...
Are you still using this page?
If you are, then I really think it should be broken up into smaller sections (001-050, 051-100 etc), because this page is too big. たかはりい 06:56, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
Umm... are you sure about using APNG?
I don't think it's a good idea when there's no animation for those not using Firefox and/or other supported browsers. APNGs don't work on most browsers and is not widely supported yet. Also, GIFs work with Pokémon sprites - They never exceed 256 colors, even with transparency. Most browsers can display GIF animation. Are you going to update them all to APNGs? --Turtwig Lover 06:25, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
