Welcome

Welcome to Bulbapedia, EarthKwake!

Here are a few links to help you get started:

The Manual of Style, or MoS, outlines the format of all pages on Bulbapedia.

Our friendly team of staff are here to help! Talk to them if you have any questions or problems with Bulbapedia.

On talk pages, please sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~), or by using the "Your signature with a timestamp" (button_sig.png) button at the top of the edit window.

On Bulbapedia, the ability to edit personal userpages is a privilege. Per our userpage policy, this must be earned by first making constructive edits to the mainspace. Once you can, remember to keep userspace edits (edits to User:EarthKwake) to a minimum.

For a complete list of policies and editing advice, please see the Welcome Portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Page Blanking

Please don't go around blanking user talk pages for no valid reason. Having one of your pages deleted is not the end of the world, you know. There's a reason we don't like people trying to get around creation protections, especially at a time like this. In the event a page of yours gets deleted, just brush it off and move on; blanking the talk page of the sysop who deleted that page is definitely not advised. If you want to ask for advice on how to chip in on how to contribute to this deluge of new information, don't be afraid to drop a line on an established user's talk page--and yes, this even includes the page you got this warning for blanking. --Shiningpikablu252 16:11, 23 July 2010 (UTC)

Talk Page Comments

Removing talk page comments, including the initial welcome template, is prohibited per Bulbapedia's talk page policy. Please do not remove any comments in the future. If you wish to clean old comments away, you should archive your talk page instead. Thank you! --Psyライダー 16:36, 23 July 2010 (UTC)

Hey

In response to the comment you left, the reason your page was deleted was because it was trying to evade the protection that was already there on article that was at the correct name. These things get protected because we barely have any information to warrant an article. We want quality articles, not things that are rushed and contain no information whatsoever. That is why it is encouraged that users make these pages in their user pages and refine them until they meet the quality standards of Bulbapedia. Also, we're not all teenagers, the higher up admins (and including myself) are actually past the age of 20, so playing the "oh, they must be kids" card isn't really helping. If you base maturity on age, then you have a lot to learn, since there are also admins who are actually teenagers, but are mature enough to know what they're doing. Jello 16:41, 23 July 2010 (UTC)

By the way, you were commenting on a talk page that was archived, I just moved your comment to User talk:Shiningpikablu252. Jello 17:18, 23 July 2010 (UTC)

Gen V abilities

Hi, I'm Umeko, a Junior Admin here. I wasn't present for the disagreement you had with some other users and staff members, but I have since read through it. Since you seem eager to help with adding new information, I hope that you will take a look at this page that I am working on. Once you have calmed down enough to stop attacking the admins that are sincerely trying to help you, you are more than welcome to add any additional information to that page that you might have. I agree with you that this information should be on the 'pedia in some form, so I'm hoping that the higher-ups will decide to move it to the mainspace - but in order to do that, I need help polishing it up first.

If you're unable to edit that page (since I'm not sure if you have been autoconfirmed yet or not), just leave any information you feel should be added on its talk page.

Though I feel I should clear this up beforehand: "Earthquake Spiral" is a gross mistranslation, so I will be keeping that translation off the page. "Overconfident" is the much more correct name for the ability.

Thank you, and I hope you do come around, since you seem to have much potential to become a good editor here. 梅子 21:53, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
