Goh's three Dustox (Japanese: ゴウの3ドクケイル Go's 3 Dokucale) are the second, third, and fourth Pokémon that Goh caught in the Hoenn region, and his fifteenth, sixteenth, and seventeenth overall.
History
In Serving Up the Flute Cup!, Goh caught three Wurmple at the Hoenn Battle Frontier with Taillow's help. Goh caught multiples as part of a back-up plan that takes into account that Wurmple's evolutionary pattern into either Cascoon or Silcoon is unpredictable, as he wants both a Silcoon and a Cascoon.
In Best Friend...Worst Nightmare!, all three evolved while defending themselves from Taillow. However, to Goh's dismay, they each evolved into a Cascoon.
In Panic in the Park!, the Cascoon ignored the hunger shortage going on at the lab, as they were soundly asleep to save energy and began to glow in preparation for evolution. After a storm is caused by Golurk, the tree holding the Cascoon began to shift from the torrent. Golurk and Ash’s Dragonite rush to support it and Goh orders his Dewgong and Tentacool to freeze over the floodwaters with Ice Beam, allowing the boys to rush over to the scene. The other Pokémon set aside their differences and all help the Cascoon by supporting the tree. Soon, the Cascoon burst into an intense blue light and emerged as Dustox. Together, the newly-evolved Dustox used Sunny Day to vanquish the dark clouds and clear the rain.
Personality and characteristics
The Dustox are often seen relaxing at the lab. While Cascoon, they spent a lot of time sleeping. Goh cares about them, being concerned that their evolution would be disturbed during the bad weather.
