Kana Hanazawa (Japanese: 花澤香菜 Hanazawa Kana) is a Japanese voice actress for Pokémon the Series.

Biography

Hanazawa was born on February 25, 1989, in Tokyo, Japan, and became a voice actress as a teenager. Her first role in Pokémon animation was voicing May during the Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Animated Trailer. She then went on to voice Chloe during Pokémon Journeys: The Series. In addition to her work as a voice actress, she is also a singer. Hanazawa married fellow voice actor Kenshō Ono in 2020, but the two divorced in 2025. She is currently affiliated with talent agency Office Osawa, and she won both the Best Supporting Actress and Best Voice Actress during in 9th Seiyu Awards and Newtype, respectively.
