This is a catch-all page for TCG strategies that I have come up with.
Randomness
This deck isn't centered around a specific strategy. It was made just for fun, but I used it during the Regional Championships in Gdańsk, which were held on November 25th, 2023. The regulation mark listed for Trainer cards matches the one printed on the card.
Notes about card prints:
- I had a Sun & Moon Potion and two Sword & Shield Potions.
- I had two Sword & Shield Great Ball and a Paldea Evolved Great Ball.
- I had a Sun & Moon Energy Retrieval and a Scarlet & Violet Energy Retrieval.
- I had a Brilliant Stars Choice Belt and a Paldea Evolved Choice Belt.

Bandit's Greed
This strategy involves Wo-Chien and Hoopa ex, two Pokémon that debuted in the Paradox Rift expansion.
When all Energy is ready for Wo-Chien's Binding Greed attack, the opponent now needs more Energy to attack with their Pokémon. This makes Hoopa ex's Energy Crush attack stronger.
Wo-Chien can use its Leaf Bringer attack to attach 2 Basic Energies to itself, which is a way of charging its Binding Greed attack. When you use that, Wo-Chien is going to be safe for a while, which is when you can charge Hoopa ex's Energy Crush attack. The Binding Greed attack itself does a lot of damage, at 140.
Possible tech cards:
- Cherrim - another Energy accelerator. This one can attach to Wo-Chien because it doesn't have a Rule Box.
- Bravery Charm - provides longevity to Wo-Chien and Hoopa ex by giving them both +50 HP.
- Morpeko - a somewhat weak attacker, but it can move its Energies to the Hoopa ex. Because it is itself type, Energy can be attached to it using the Dark Patch, which it can't do to Hoopa ex because it is type. Being a Basic Pokémon, Morpeko is also affected by the Bravery Charm, and its Ability makes it able to retreat for free if it has no Energy attached.
- Kricketune - gives any Wo-Chien +40 HP.
- Skaters' Park - when used in conjunction with Cherrim, Wo-Chien can retreat and recycle all basic Energy used for it. This will make it ready to battle again.
- Switch Cart - it can switch out the Wo-Chien or Hoopa ex while healing the Pokémon.
When combining the Bravery Charm with Kricketune, Wo-Chien's maximum HP is 220.
Lively Cart
This strategy involves Miltank and a Pokémon with little to no Retreat Cost that can act as a backup attacker when necessary. As Miltank battles, it's going to lose HP. The Switch Cart can be used to move the Miltank to the Bench while healing it. Then, the other Pokémon can retreat to let Miltank again into battle.
Possible tech cards:
- Venusaur ex - has an HP-recovering Ability and the Dangerous Toxwhip attack, which can be really powerful. Big Air Balloon makes sure it has no Retreat Cost. In case it's disrupted by Path to the Peak, Worker can discard it, while being a decent draw supporter.
- Radiant Tsareena - on the turns where Miltank starts on the Bench, Radiant Tsareena's Ability can heal it. This also benefits from Worker's side effect in case Path to the Peak is in play.
- Lucky Ice Pop - an Item card that can be reused for turns where Miltank attacks.
- Cook - a Supporter card that heals more HP.
- Bravery Charm - provides longevity to Miltank by giving it +50 HP.
- Togepi, Togetic, and Togekiss - all of them have Abilities that provide HP recovery to the Active Pokémon.
