Status as legendary
Was it confirmed that Kubfu is a legendary? if so I would love to see a source on it. It seemed like a regular Pokemon to me, albeit a rare Pokemon in the vein of starters, where you can only get one without breeding. - unsigned comment from KittehWarlord (talk • contribs)

Kubfu briefly having No Guard
According to this analysis on Smogon (https://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/scarlet-violet-battle-mechanics-research.3709545/page-29#post-9525015), Kubfu allegedly had No Guard as a Hidden Ability until the V 1.2.0 update. It apparently doesn't anymore, nor did have so in Gen 8, but if anyone is able to verify this, should it be added? Ice Cream 03:56, 23 March 2023 (UTC)

Intro Evolution Confusion
The Scroll of Waters and Scroll of Darkness articles indicate that the scroll in the Tower of Waters is just the Scroll of Waters and the scroll in the Tower of Darkness is just the Scroll of Darkness. The intro for this article, in trying to describe Pokemon as a set of game mechanics where the scrolls are interactive objects in one game and inventory items in another game, and as a world where the Scroll of Waters and Scroll of Darkness are real texts that Kubfu reads from, makes the whole thing very confusing. Shouldn't the intro take the in-universe approach here and just say "evolves after reading from either the Scroll of Waters or Scroll of Darkness" and let the Evolution data section handle the game mechanics thing? (This also applies to Urshifu, but I had to pick a talk page and Kubfu's is less empty and I guess it's the one doing the evolving.) Salmancer (talk) 04:20, 30 January 2024 (UTC)
