Special Day with the Guys (Japanese: 彼らと過ごす素敵な日 Special Day with the Guys) was a solo event in Pokémon Masters EX. It was focused on male sync pairs.

The "Triple Feature Charming Poké Fair Scout" let players recruit sync pairs formed with male Trainers for the duration of the event. Players had an increased chance of recruiting Raihan (Anniversary 2022) & Flygon, Red & Snorlax, and Lucas & Dialga in this scout.

During this event, players could earn Event Vouchers B from battles that could be redeemed in the shop. All battles could be challenged an unlimited number of times except Daily Extreme Battle 1, which could only be challenged once per day. Extra vouchers were automatically exchanged with coins once the event was finished. Unlike most solo events, this event did not feature any sync pair bonuses.

While not named as such, this event featured a battle akin to previous Full-Force Battles, where players were challenged to defeat a large group of strong opponents. Similar to the Legendary Arena, players could use multiple teams with a limited number of total sync pairs, with the opponents' health carrying over between rounds and with previously used pairs unable to be used again until the challenge is reset.

Plot

Raihan decides that he wants to take a selfie with the living legend, Red. He and Gordie go to ask the player, who is hanging out with Hau and Hugh, for help. Since Red is notoriously reclusive, the player comes up with the idea to stage battles so exciting that Red will be drawn out to join them. They recruit Lucas, Professor Sycamore, Wally, and Silver to help them out as well, and the whole group goes to the arena to start battling. After a few rounds of battles, Red finally appears and silently challenges them to a battle.

After battling Red, Raihan asks him to stay a minute and take a selfie with them. Silver, who only agreed to join because he wanted to battle Red, tries to leave before the photo is taken, but Hau and Hugh stop him. Raihan then takes a nice selfie of the nine guys and the player.

Raihan	Ah, sorry. Let me explain in detail... The living legend is the legendary Trainer Red. Red's always appearing and vanishing on Pasio. We don't usually know where he is. Even when we think we've found him, he suddenly disappears. So if we took a photo with an extremely rare and terrifically strong Trainer, don't you think my fans would love it?
Gordie	Ah, I see. If that's the case, I can help you. My fans would like that, too.
Raihan	OK then. It's decided!
Gordie	But he's a strong opponent, so it won't be an easy task.
Raihan	Let's round up some more people to help out!
