Wiglett (Pokémon): Difference between revisions

no edit summary
(Undo revision 3768361 by DrPumpkinz (talk) The term "convergent evolution" wasn't the main issue. The issue is that 1 member of a group of 4 having something unique about it is not typically considered notable. Between any four Pokémon, each member is likely going to have things that it doesn't have in common with the other three. It's not really special or something that needs noting.)

Some researchers initially confused Wiglett for a [[Paldea]]n [[regional form]] of {{p|Diglett}} due to their physical resemblance, but they are separate species and differ in habitat and diet. It is theorized that the two species ended up having similar body plans as an adaptation to suit their environments and burrowing behavior.<ref name=SVsite/><ref name=WPES />
