Pokémon Sword and Shield beta: Difference between revisions

Added section about Shiny-locked Pokémon, added a hidden note asking for someone to add in the hidden and unused Pokédex entries for several Pokémon that cannot be obtained.
m (Minor rewords. ("Respectively" doesn't work between groups of different lengths) Additionally, the article linked doesn't mention that those features were going to be included at all, so I removed the section for now.)

Shiny Pokémon
For the sake of consistency, all Pokémon have a shiny form but some of them cannot be obtained as they have been locked out of being shiny outside of the possibility of shiny variants being distributed via events. The Starter Pokémon the player obtains are also shiny locked but their shiny forms can be obtained via breeding. As Zarude and Zarude Dada form were only distributed via events, it is currently impossible to have their shiny forms.

Unused Max Raid Battle stats
All Pokémon that can Dynamax have Max Raid battle stats with some of the stat fields being blank meaning those Dynamaxed Pokémon are most likely not meant to be encountered in any Max Raid Battle encounter.
Moves
Main: List of moves by availability (Generation VIII)
Pokémon Sword and Shield removed various moves from the game, they all have the same description of "This move can't be used. It's recommended that this move is forgotten. Once forgotten, this move can't be remembered." Attempting to use a Pokémon in battle that only knows unusable moves will always result in the Pokémon using Struggle instead and acting as if it has no moves available to select.

<!--===Abilities===
As several Pokémon are not available in Pokémon Sword and Shield, their abilities have been dummied out and are not able to be used in-game.

Table needed to show the current unusable abilities, thank you.

Pokédex Entries
Several Pokémon have Pokédex entries for Pokémon Sword and Shield but as they cannot be used in-game, their Pokédex entries cannot be currently seen.

Table for showing the Pokémon and the respective unused Pokédex entries here, thank you.-->
