The Ribbon Syndicate (Japanese: リボンシンジケート Ribbon Syndicate) is a building located in the Resort Area of the Battle Zone in Sinnoh. It is difficult to miss with its large size and giant decorative Ribbon symbol over the doorway. A Trainer must have at least 10 different kinds of Ribbons (or, in Generation VIII, Marks) spread among their current Pokémon party to gain access to the building. In Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, the Hisui Ribbon counts toward this total despite not being visible, but Ribbons and Marks introduced in Scarlet and Violet do not.
Places of interest
Ribbon counter
One of the notable things about the syndicate is that they offer incredibly expensive Ribbons, which act mostly as signs of status rather than merit. The counter is located on the first floor, just beyond the entry. The lady there will offer each Ribbon one at a time according to the price; the Gorgeous Ribbon first, then the Royal Ribbon, and finally the Gorgeous Royal Ribbon.

Spa
The top floor of the syndicate features a spa, which the player can visit to make their Pokémon more friendly. The spa can only provide treatment to five members a day, however, and a Trainer who receives a massage may not receive another until the following day. Unlike other Pokémon groomers, the spa attendants will treat an Egg; this will increase the initial friendship of the Pokémon that hatches from it.

Trivia

- In Pokémon Platinum, Fantina mentions that she is a member of the Ribbon Syndicate.
- In Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, there is a glitch where, if the player has an Egg in their party during the unique Ribbon check, Pokémon in party slots after the Egg will not have their Ribbons counted.
