Trivia
- This card displays a "GB" symbol in place of an expansion symbol, indicating it was created exclusively for the Game Boy.
- In the North American version of Pokémon Trading Card Game, the two available Ninetales cards (this card and the one from Base Set) have their name misspelled as Ninetails, despite the correct Ninetales appearing in the effect of the Base Set card's Fire Blast attack. This misspelling was fixed in the European versions.
- This card uses the same stock art of Ninetales as the Gym Challenge Brock's Ninetales.
Origin
This card's English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Yellow, whereas the Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
