Release information

This card was included in the Diamond & Pearl expansion with artwork by Ken Sugimori, first released in the Japanese Space-Time Creation expansion. It was later included in the Torterra Half Deck of the Japanese Entry Pack. It was reprinted in POP Series 6 with different artwork by Kouki Saitou. In Japan, this print was given to people visiting the Pokémon Card Game Information Desk present at Pokémon Diamond & Pearl Battle Festa★2006 venues in exchange for the card mount containing Riolu (not the card itself), available with December 2006 issues of CoroCoro Comic, released on November 15, 2006. The Battle Festa took place at the Kobe International Exhibition Hall, Kobe on November 25 and 26, 2006; at Port Messe Nagoya, Nagoya on December 2 and 3, 2006; at the West Japan General Exhibition Center, Kitakyushu on December 9 and 10, 2006; and at Pacifico Yokohama, Yokohama on December 16 and 17, 2006. This card was later reprinted with English-exclusive artwork by Kent Kanetsuna as part of the Lucario Half Deck of the Diamond & Pearl Trainer Kit. A promotional Reverse Holofoil variant of the Diamond & Pearl print with a "Diamond & Pearl" stamp was also released as part of a Burger King promotion in July 2008.
