Effect
The Golden Lure Module is a PokéStop module used to attract wild Pokémon to the PokéStop's location for 30 minutes, including rare spawns of Roaming Form Gimmighoul. PokéStops that have an active Golden Lure Module placed will turn golden. The effect can be utilized by all players, and any player viewing the PokéStop can see the username of whoever placed the Lure Module. Only one Lure Module can be active at a PokéStop at once, and another Lure Module cannot be placed until the previous one expires.
Like the Lure Module, its effect is similar to that of the Incense, but is fixed to a PokéStop rather than to the player. Spinning a golden PokéStop's Photo Disc will reward more Poké Balls and Berries than a regular PokéStop; it will also reward 5 to 25 Gimmighoul Coins (in multiples of 5) each time.[1]
Unlike other Lure Modules, the duration for an active Golden Lure Module is not extended by events such as Community Days.

Acquisition
A Golden Lure Module is rewarded for every 5 Postcards sent to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet (only one Postcard can be sent every day, resetting at midnight).[1][2] Unlike other Lure Modules, a player can only have one Golden Lure Module in their inventory at any given time. If a player would receive a Golden Lure Module when they already have one in their inventory, they will receive five Gimmighoul Coins instead.[1]
