This card was included in the 151 expansion, first released in the Japanese Pokémon Card 151 subset. It was reprinted in the Japanese Venusaur & Charizard & Blastoise Special Deck Set ex.

Trivia

This card's effect is almost identical to that of Energy Pickup, a card previously released in the Legends Awakened expansion. The only difference is that Energy Sticker can only attach Energy to the player's Benched Pokémon, while Energy Pickup can attach Energy to either the player's Benched or Active Pokémon.
