Errrm... well, where can we go with this? It definitely shouldn't include nonnotable sites, like some geocities site that got established yesterday, but certainly well-known and popular ones like Pokémon Zeo! and Serebii.net... and for sure Bulbagarden and other members of EP. TTEchidna 19:10, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

I think we've got enough 'notable' fansites to make a project, but even then it seems a little weird for an idea... I dunno why, it just does. (After all, after making this project I think we'd see a lot of 'LOL HERE'S A SITE ____ MADE JUST YESTERDAY AND WE WANT VISITORS'.. we're a Wiki, not the classified section. (Someone, I know, someone'll bring up the link in my siganture. Shhhhh.) 281Tinaδ281 19:13, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
Pf, here's a difference between you advertising your site on talk pages in your signature with a single character and making an entire page about a three-day-old site. The problem is... where do we draw that line? I mean, I personally know of Legendary Pokémon, PA!, Zeo, Sugarshock, TR's Rockin, Psypoke, Serebii, Veekun, Smogon, Pokecharms, Marriland... and of course Bulbagarden. What other sites are there, anyway? TTEchidna 19:26, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
Pokemopolis, Pokémon Crater, Pokesho, Dogasu's Backpack, PokeBeach, PPN. And is PA! Pokeani or something else? --FabuVinny T-C-S 19:32, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
How about.... Pokegym, Pokemon, Go-Pokemon, and Pokemon-Games. --Groudon465Talk 19:38, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
The official sites pass the notability test, if not technically fitting the definition of "fan sites". --FabuVinny T-C-S 19:50, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
PA!'s Pokémon Aaah!... you know, that old site. TTEchidna 20:44, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
Never heard of it before. But then, it looks like it was closed before I ventured out beyond Pokémon Crater. --FabuVinny T-C-S 14:26, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
I found a site called Pokémon World Online and it is a MMO (Massive Multiplayer Online) if has been heard of before maybe it could get added. -MasterKenobi 20:09, 5 June 2009 (UTC)

Would fan-made full games fall under this category? --Sting the Trainer 01:10, 6 May 2010 (UTC)

Another site...

I found another site that a bunch of people on forums (including bulbapedia's) are into. It is some egg-hatching site called Global PokédeX Plus. (http://gpxplus.net/) -MasterKenobi 03:18, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

I also found another site that is becoming more popular in the pokemon online gaming community, it has a special and unique class called the galaxy Pokémon(gorgeous Pokémon that glows and some have galaxy patterns on them, here's an example 239p.png) but I don't know how to introduce it to bulbapedia. Pokémon Spriting

I don't believe we have an article on Pokémon Spriting or Pokémon Fusions. Since the images made using these methods are made by fans, would it fall under the Fandom section? - unsigned comment from AuraGaurdian (talkcontribs)

Hoax pokemon?

Should there be a list of hoax pokemon that had wide coverage? Pikablu and Gazellezag come to mind. (I know the former redirects to Marill.) -- stillnotelf is invisible 03:07, 27 October 2010 (UTC)

This site currently has original articles and an audio podcast (It's Super Effective) and a video podcast (Critical Hit) it's a great site. PKMNCast -DJZoSo

The article has been made a while ago as It's Super Effective (podcast). Additionally, a redirect page for website itself (PKMNcast.com) has also been added. BulbaPediaAid 02:51, 3 November 2011 (UTC)

Pokemon Tower Defense

Alright, so I tried to talk to SnorlaxMonster about this, who redirected me to Saturn Yoshi, who hasn't responded to me for a long time. So I have now come her, hoping for response, asking whether or not I can create a page for Pokemon Tower Defense. For all of those who do not know the game I can give you a link. [1] Please respond BrokenMotor 03:13, 29 May 2011 (UTC)

That's not a site, that's one page on a non-Pokemon site.

Something inexplicably absent!

Back when pokemon first came out in the states, something...bizarre happened on AOL: Battlers, for lack of a better term. These were user-made program ("progz." I dont miss the 90s.) that would use chat inputs to generate text-based battles between players. These were as strange as it sounds like, but even moreso because they were ridiculous.

I recall three of them, all of which functioned in the same manner: probably the most advanced was "Pokemon Lightning," whos creator I cannot recall. The most widely used and praised, was one whos name I cant recall, but whos creator went by the named "Coolkid" or some corruption of it. This one had the interesting trait that all the pokemon were essentially equal...Except the ridiculous powerful, game-breaking Pikachu. There was a third battler as well, but i cant even remember what it looked like, just that it didnt work.

While these may not be especially notable now, they were at the time. And the concept is bizarre to the point that I think it should be here...

...I just have no idea WHERE. PowerPlantRaichu 11:59, 14 November 2011 (UTC)

Another site - Pokémon Papercraft

Pokémon Papercraft - a site with really cool paper models of pokemon. (Currently there are 279 of 649; new model every week). I think it is very original among numerous fan-sites. Do you think it deserves an article? Ruxax 21:33, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

Website notability requirements

Hi everyone, is there a clear set of requirements for notability with regards to websites? An article I created, Pokemon Database was recently deleted for being non-notable, but it is one of the most popular fan sites in the world today. Several other fan site pages exist that don't seem remotely notable. Some seem to be called notable for being the biggest Pokemon fan site in France in 2003 (of course, an unverified claim). Can we have some basic guidelines? DisgruntledGoat 15:45, 23 March 2012 (UTC)

I'll add to this what I mentioned on my talk page. For some evidence of popularity check rankings on alexa.com i.e. [2]. Compare to other popular sites on the graph, here's an example with some other well-known fansites. Even if you take their numbers with a pinch of salt, Pokemon Database is clearly amongst those sites. DisgruntledGoat 00:24, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

This is a very notable site, with over 100,000 accounts on it. Is that enough for an article? I feel it is, but I'm not (yet) a part of this project, so I won't make it. Youngril 00:18, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

Oh, and also: "Pokefarm.org is ranked #57,750 in the world according to the three-month Alexa traffic rankings." Youngril 00:27, 3 April 2012 (UTC)
I would say it's notable myself, but as I said above the article for my site was deleted, despite being more popular than many other Pokemon fan sites. So if a site around #24,000 in the world isn't notable, then by Bulbapedia's "standards", Pokefarm isn't. DisgruntledGoat (talk) 14:36, 25 October 2012 (UTC)

There are several Pokémon creepypastas, some of which have gotten very popular (such as the Lavender Town Syndrome). Should we create a page for them? Արիանո 12:37, 3 February 2013 (UTC)

Pokémon Plush Project

It's photo albums of Pokémon plushes! Should we have a page for this? SerenityMoon (talk) 14:20, 9 March 2014 (UTC)

Oh, and it's on Flickr if that's needed as well. SerenityMoon (talk) 14:23, 9 March 2014 (UTC)

I REALLY want to be a part of this project!

I'm a self-proclaimed Pokémon fanatic. A ringtone I have sounds like the cry of an Ampharos, my stomach when it growls, half of the time it does sound like a Croagunk in English and in Japanese! So, where can I start? WATERWarrior67 08:43, 6 October 2014 (UTC)

I've created an article about veekun. Can a staff member replace veekun on the article creation goals with another notable fan site whose article is still awaiting its creation? Since veekun's article is created now. - PokémonGamer* 03:17, 25 October 2015 (UTC)

PokéRadio: A Pokémon Podcast

Hi! I started a Pokémon podcast the other week and would like to add it to this project on Bulbapedia. Can someone help me with that? IF so, thanks and that would be great. Thanks! --MCOury1998 (talk) 16:58, 4 May 2016 (UTC)

We only cover notable fan web sites, meaning those that have had a significant impact on the fandom. Bulbapedia's Project Fandom is not a place where you can advertise a podcast that started a week or so ago. --Carmen (Talk | contribs) 17:06, 4 May 2016 (UTC)

How to add info on ROM Hacks ?

I recently made the world's first Pokemon Mystery Dungeon ROM Hack so I want to post it in side series hacks !

Hi, can I join?

I'd just like to ask if I can join. I know a lot about this subject, and I would really like to contribute. Thanks for considering. WarriorCatPonybox (Warrior) 15:54, 2 March 2017 (UTC)
