Weapons are not very commonly depicted in the Pokémon games, however they are infrequently mentioned or even depicted, but usage of them is hardly ever seen. Many [[region]]s, such as [[Kalos]] and [[Unova]] were known to partake in war, with the prior directly using Pokémon in its actions rather than typical weapons. [[Alola]]'s history also states that war between its four major islands took place, and that the [[guardian deities]] stopped being involved with such human affairs.
