:I don't see why we should think it is Dr. Fuji. "Dr. Fuji" is only mentioned once in the games, whereas Mr. Fuji actually is a known character. ::Because Dr. Fuji is a researcher, whereas nothing of the sort is mentioned about Mr. Fuji. The Pokémon Mansion journals were likely written by Dr. Fuji as well, as Pokémon Mansion is right next to Pokémon Lab, founded by Dr. Fuji. Just because Mr. Fuji is a known character, unlike Dr. Fuji, it is not necessarily more appropriate to refer to the more popular character just for the sake of it, even if it's likely that they are the same person (a possibility is not a fact).
