Comparison of a box topper with a regular card

Just an FYI, here is the cardlist of the box toppers from the Wizard-era sets

Legendary Collection

Expedition

Aquapolis

Skyridge

Also, while the Legendary Collection box toppers used the Legendary Collection set icon, the Card-e series box toppers used a unique box topper icon; a... box. I made a two, which are to the right. I also took a picture of a box topper and a regular card for comparison purposes.

Furthermore, I think it would be a good idea to amend each of the above card's page to denote that it was a box topper, as well as list the box toppers on the actual card set's article's cardlist. I'll also try to scan all the box toppers I have in order to provide images for the actual card's article's card examples.

I'd make the edits myself, but I gotta to homework... :( -- Nick15 02:38, 18 May 2011 (UTC)

I think this should definitely implemented, but I'm not entirely sure how. Seeing as these cards and the 4 before it are the actual box toppers as described in the article. While the card that come after these are also box toppers, they act as secret rares instead of over-sized cards. So I think there should be a clear difference in the two to begin with. I'm going to look into over-sized cards soon, so I might take this along with it, but I'm not entirely sure how to divide them into separate articles.Donkey-er (talk) 11:41, 1 July 2014 (UTC)
