Red Eyes is one of the admins of the Pinchers, he first appears at the start of the game, shooting the player with his [[Z.Z. Flyer]]. He appears again at the [[Rasp Cavern]], where {{p|Raikou}}'s embelem is stolen from the Involith. Later, he contacts the player and [[Murph]] to exchange [[Blue Eyes]] for the player's partner at [[Daybreak Ruins]], and he steals {{p|Entei}}'s embelem in the involith. Red Eyes appears again at [[Faldera Volcano]], where he tries to awaken {{p|Moltres}} and battles the player with a {{p|Charizard}}. He appears again trying to awaken {{p|Articuno}} on [[Mt. Sorbet]], he challenges the player with a {{p|Typhlosion}}. Once Red Eyes is defeated, he leaves, his pride shattered. After the credits, during [[Supurna]]'s mission, he appears in the sky, and holds the last piece of [[Edward]]'s golden armor and he challenges the player with a {{p|Blaziken}} on [[Mt. Sorbet]] for it. His last appearance, during a quest, Red Eyes appears and hands the protaganist 2 out of 3 monument parts from the involiths.

Red Eyes first appeared in the anime in [[SS022|the first part of the Guardian Signs]] anime special, where he shot down the character {{ra|Ben}}. He then appeared in the [[SS023|the second part]] of the special where he attempted (and failed) to defeat Ben before deciding to take on the [[legendary Pokémon]] {{p|Raikou}}.

|desc={{p|Cranidos}} was controlled by Red Eyes in an attempt to prevent {{ra|Ben}} from interfering in the plans of the [[Pokémon Pinchers]], and proved its strength by defeating {{p|Pichu|Ukulele Pichu}} with a powerful {{m|Headbutt}}. However Cranidos was clearly not acting under its own will and was quickly returned to normal thanks to Ben's [[Capture Styler]].
