Potion (Base Set 94): Difference between revisions

This card was released as a {{TCG|Trainer card}} in the {{TCG|Base Set}} with artwork by [[Keiji Kinebuchi]], first released in the Japanese {{TCG|Expansion Pack}}. Before the TCG was officially released in North America, prototype {{TCG|Pokémon League}}s were given the {{TCG|Trainer Deck A}}, which included this card. The cards in this deck all have a red border and "Trainer Deck A" printed on the back. In Japan, it was reprinted in the {{TCG|Nivi City Gym|Nivi City}}, {{TCG|Hanada City Gym|Hanada City}} and {{TCG|Guren Town Gym}} Decks. It was also included in the Red and Green Decks of the Japanese {{TCG|Quick Starter Gift Set}} as well as the Bulbasaur and Squirtle Decks of the Japanese {{TCG|Intro Pack}}. Both of these prints featured reworded effect text to the original. Outside Japan, it was reprinted in {{TCG|Base Set 2}} and the {{TCG|Legendary Collection}} retaining its original effect text. Potion was also featured in the {{ga|Pokémon Trading Card Game}} and [[Pokémon Trading Card Game 2: The Invasion of Team GR!]] for [[Game Boy Color]].
