Lugia glows blue and shoots many beams from its mouth which eventually combine into a single destructive beam which is fired at the opponent, or blue energy gathers in Lugia's mouth and it fires a massive beam of blue energy from its mouth at the oppoennt.

• Aeroblast and Spacial Rend are variations of one another, and are the signature move of the version mascots of the secondary versions of the even-numbered generations.
• In Gen II, the anime and the movie, Aeroblast is portrayed as a beam/beams of energy but in the games starting at Gen III and the Super Smash Bros series Aeroblast is seen as a concentrated hurricane-like vortex.
