What about "Very rare"? Some pokemon, like Wailord, are listed as "Very rare" on this site, but this page doesn't mention it. -Buddy Christ

There's also "Few" on some articles such as Gloom. Why is this? Carrottime 03:49, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

Definitions

Is it possible to have percentage definitions here? More importantly, who decided that x% was alpha Rarity? — THE TROM — 09:05, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Are you talking about the encounter rate? --☆Kevzo8 09:14, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
Uh, maybe. The common/rare/uncommon thing that you get on the Pokemon's articles in a fancy colored box... Third column along... — THE TROM — 09:21, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

I'm echoing the above question, since it seems to have been forgotten about. What % encounter rates qualify as Common/Uncommon/Rare? If a Pokémon has a 1% encounter rate in one route and 50% in another, is it Common or Rare? Do we have a system in place for deciding these things? Bikini Miltank 14:47, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

Update?

Curious as to if this page should be updated in terms of the Rare section with the inclusion of ★H, ☆ , ☆ex, and ☆H. Frozen Fennec 21:33, 6 June 2012 (UTC)

Elaboration on ultra rare

Can anyone please explain on this article the difference between   "Rare Ultra" and the redundantly-named   "Ultra-Rare Rare"? Both of these rarities coexist in the latest TCG expansion but I can't find elaboration on exactly what the difference is. yeyjordan 20:43, 19 February 2017 (UTC)

Amazing Rare

Should the Amazing Rare rarity be added to this page? --TotallyTob 05:23, 5 February 2021 (UTC)

I second this. This article is still feeling like a bit of a stub at the time of writing. ShinyPatch (talk) 04:51, 4 April 2023 (UTC)

Rarity as per the Scarlet and Violet expansion

Surely the new change in rarity symbols as of 2023 should be mentioned and reflected in this article? ShinyPatch (talk) 04:49, 4 April 2023 (UTC)

Return to "Rarity" page.
