Splitting is subject to discussion from administrators, the Editorial Board, and the general public. Discussions can be seen on the respective articles' talk pages. Splitting will only take place once an agreeable outcome has been reached. Placing {{Split}} on a page will automatically put it into this category. Administrators check this page regularly; there is no need to notify them on their talk pages that there are articles requested for splitting. Administrators will split said pages when they have assessed arguments and judged it warranted.
