Merciless (Japanese: ひとでなし Miscreant) is an Ability introduced in Generation VII. It is the signature Ability of Mareanie and Toxapex.

Effect

In battle

If the target is poisoned, the Pokémon's attacks will become critical hits, unless the target has Battle Armor or Shell Armor or is under the effects of Lucky Chant.

Outside of battle

Merciless has no effect outside of battle.
