I very much dislike this page. These TCG elements each deserve their own pages, even if they do end up being stubs. The TCG seems to often get the short end of the stick here, and each of these is important enough an element in the TCG to deserve their own pages. Any comment or pleas before I separate this? --ニョロトノ666 17:05, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

I hate stubs, and most of these wouldn't advance past being stubs were they given their own article. Some deserve or have their own articles, yes, but in those cases Template:Main should be used here. Glossaries are the ideal way to inform someone of basic terms, and most of these are, indeed, basic terms. As such, this article should remain here, even if separate pages for some of the terms are created. Cipher (Talk) 17:10, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

Merge

Since "Basic Pokémon" redirects to this article, shouldn't Stage 1 Pokémon and Stage 2 Pokémon be merged with this article? KYUREM'S ICE BLADE 13:58, 3 September 2013 (UTC)

Base set Charizard and its Pokemon Power

Glossary (TCG)#Pokémon Power mentions Charizard (Base Set 4) as an example of a Pokemon with a Pokemon-Power that is always active. However that doesn't seem to be true for the original print from Base Set, as the Power needs to be explicitly used in order to use it in contrast to the Stormfront print shown in the gallery. So maybe Base Set Charizard might not be the best example for an always active Pokemon-Power. Gengar321 (talk) 12:32, 11 April 2014 (UTC)

History?

I got here from a link to the Lost Zone, because that mechanic wasn't around back when I collected the cards. This page tells what it is but not when it was introduced, which I think is fairly important information. Is that able to be added to this page, or conversely, could the Lost Zone be spun off into a page of its own? --AndyPKMN (talk) 01:40, 23 May 2014 (UTC)

I'll work it into the page sometime soon. In the meantime, here's a backend wiki link that shows what cards utilize the lost zone. MaverickNate 02:14, 23 May 2014 (UTC)
