Category:Abilities that can modify move types

These abilities can modify the type of certain moves used by the Pokémon with the ability. This usually causes the move to grant a same-type attack bonus for being the same type as the user.

Normalize modifies all moves to be Normal type. The other abilities, which end in the "-ate" suffix, modify Normal moves to be some other type. All abilities in this category have "スキン" ("Skin") in their Japanese names.
