Heatproof (Japanese: たいねつ Heatproof) is an ability introduced in Generation IV. Two Pokémon can have this ability, both in the same evolutionary line.

Effect

In battle

Heatproof halves the damage done by Template:Type2 attacks and the Burn status ailment.

Outside of battle

Heatproof has no effect outside of battle.
