Pokémon coins

Pokémon coins (Dutch: Pokémonmunten) were coins given away by Dutch supermarket chain Super de Boer.[1][2] There were two series of 48 heavy metal coins with on top a picture of a Pokémon. Each coin weighs 14 grams and a complete album of one series weighs 950 grams. The pictures are numbered in the folder but there are no numbers on the coins. The coins of both two series can not be distinguished from each other besides the Pokémon on the coins.

Second series

From October 15 to November 17, 2001 a second series of 48 coins was given away by both Super De Boer and another Dutch supermarket chain called Konmar.

With second series you could choose to buy a second album for the coins or a supplement for behind the first series album.
