• This episode marks the proper anime debut of Team Plasma and the proper return of Looker, since the episode in which Team Plasma was supposed to debut and Looker was supposed to return was originally postponed — and, as of this episode, retconned from continuity.

Errors

• TV Guide lists the episode as "Team Plasma's Pokemon Power."
• At the end, when Cilan wishes Looker best wishes, Looker means to say it back, but says good fishes.
