In the Biology section, it states that Spearow is monochromatic (sees in black and white). This is quite different from how real birds see, as most of them, including the sparrows and shrikes Spearow is likely based on, are tetrachromatic (sees in 4 colors; in birds, these are typically red, green, blue, and ultraviolet).
