Shiro

Shiro (Japanese: ジロウ Jirō) is a character of the day in the Pokémon anime who appeared in Two Hits and a Miss.

Shiro first appeared in the episode stating that he wanted to battle and adding that he also wanted to be a shihan. He introduced his name, and explained that he came to challenge the shihan of the dojo to a Pokémon battle. Shiro, as explained by an angered Chigusa, is a Pokémon Trainer of which fighting dojos call ‘The Dojo Destroyer’, and when he defeats the shihans he wins the plaques that hang in front of their dojos. At that point, he possessed eleven plaques and sought an even dozen. His purpose is that he plans on opening his own Fighting-type Pokémon dojo back home, and he wanted his students’ respect.

After being defeated by Chigusa, Shiro stated to Kenzo that he saw why his dojo possessed such an excellent reputation, with Kenzo replying that he was gracious in defeat.

Shiro's Hitmonlee
Hitmonlee
Hitmonlee is Shiro's only known Pokémon. Shiro used it to challenge Kenzo for the plaque to his dojo, but due to Kenzo's bad condition, Chigusa had to battle instead. The match was however interrupted as Team Rocket appeared, trying to steal the Pokémon, and James's Victreebel's Sleep Powder caused Hitmonlee to fall asleep. During the rematch, Hitmonlee was defeated by Chigusa's Hitmontop.

Hitmonlee's known moves are Rolling Kick, Double Kick, Jump Kick and Hi Jump Kick.
