Twister (Japanese: たつまき Twister) is a damage-dealing Dragon-type move introduced in Generation II.

Effect

Generation II

Twister inflicts damage and has a 20% chance of causing each target to flinch.

Twister can hit a Pokémon during the semi-invulnerable turns of Fly, and if it does, it will have its power doubled for that Pokémon.

Generation III

In a Double Battle, Twister will hit all adjacent opponents.

Twister can now also hit a Pokémon during the semi-invulnerable turns of Bounce, and if it does, it will have its power doubled for that Pokémon.

Generation V

In a Triple Battle, Twister will hit all adjacent opponents.

Twister can now also hit a Pokémon during the semi-invulnerable turns of Sky Drop and if it does, it will have its power doubled for that Pokémon.

Generation VI

Twister will hit Berry trees found in the background of battles.
