Forewarn (Ability)

151Mew.png This move effect may be in need of research.
Reason: Can it reveal a move of a non-adjacent Pokémon in a Triple Battle? (Does a move being able to hit non-adjacent Pokémon affect this?)
Check the powers assigned to moves without them in Gen V and VI (the list may only be accurate to Gen IV: Hidden Power probably only has a power assigned prior to Gen VI, and other moves are probably assigned 80)

You can discuss this on the talk page.

Forewarn (Japanese: よちむ Prophetic Dream) is an Ability introduced in Generation IV. All Pokémon that have this Ability are Psychic types.

Effect

In battle

Forewarn shows the opponent's move with the highest power. If two or more moves are of the same power, one will be chosen at random.

In a Double Battle, Forewarn will only show the highest power move out of all the moves known by both opponents. If both opponents have a move with the same power, one will be chosen at random.

Damaging moves without a power (i.e. moves that deal direct damage and moves that have variable power) are assigned one.
