However, Barry runs off into the forest and comes across a wild Natu. Soon Ash, Dawn and Barry find themselves in trouble facing predicaments that they each faced in the beginning of their journeys. With Dawn and Piplup up against yet another swarm of wild Ariados and Ash and Pikachu up against a flock of wild Spearow, what will be the outcome of all of this?

Trivia
- Professor Oak's Pokémon lecture: Castform.
- Professor Oak's lecture returns after a 10 episode hiatus. Interestingly, it returns one episode after Professor Oak makes an appearance in the anime.
- Palmer makes his debut appearance exactly 100 episodes after Cynthia made hers. Coincidently, they both made cameos in Arceus and the Jewel of Life, and they shared the same battle music in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl.
- This is the first episode featuring Barry where his Empoleon does not appear.
- This episode reveals that Barry caught his Heracross by slathering honey on a tree.
- Interestingly, this episode aired the same week that Stopped in the Name of Love! aired in America. Both episodes had a scene where Dawn & Piplup had to deal with a group of Ariados, which also occured in Following a Maiden's Voyage!, when Dawn and Piplup became friends.
- In this episode Battle Frontier is heard in the Tourney, also in Lucario and the Mystery of Mew this song is used for the Opening Credits wich also features a Tourney.
- Pokémon Ondo is heard and then singed by Barry at the festival.
Errors
- Nidoqueen's mouth is colored blue instead of cream.
