When Mairin is talking about the Garchomp incident, Alain is smiling down at her. Although this could be because she started to talk about trust between trainer and Pokemon.

When Mairin was talking about how she wants to get to know him better, Alain gives in and lets her follow him.

When Mairin was having trouble catching Flabebe, Alain gave her tips on how to catch it.

After Alain asks Mairin why is she still folowing him and she answers him, he allows her to continue following him

Pokemon XY Special: Act 2

When Mairin screams, Alain runs to make sure she is alright.

Alain thanks Steven for helping Mairin.

While Alain and Steven were beginning to battle, he tells Mairin to go someplace safe.

In the english sub when Lysandre comments what a small girlfriend he has, Alain seems to be surprised.

When Rayquaza came out Alain told Mairin to get to safety so she wouldn't get hurt.

After Mega Rayquaza used Draco Metor and sent Mairin flying, Alain dove to catch her, injuring his shoulder in the process.

In the beginning Alain says that he dont mind her being there with him.

When Alain leaves Mairin behind and Steven asks him why Alain responds saying that she is a nuisance, but Steven saying back that he knows that he don't really feel that way and that its just Alain's way of caring.
