Welcome to Bulbapedia, Alice11!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Trivia

Please refrain from adding trivia that can already easily be seen from the tables on the page. The consensus is that such trivia does not belong on Bulbapedia because it is extraneous. Thank you. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 00:12, 10 August 2013 (UTC)

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Changes button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Thanks! ----Pokemaster97 12:41, 10 August 2013 (UTC)

Wanted templates

Just like the list of wanted pages, there's a list of wanted templates. So please don't link to templates that won't ever exist, which is what you did on your user page. The message before this one may also help you. オリナル TheOriginalOne 19:40, 19 August 2013 (UTC)

Userspace limits

Hi. I noticed you have been editing the User: namespace a lot recently. Please don't do it any more, though. Bulbapedia's Userspace policy restricts the amount you can edit your userpage: no more than three edits per day and make sure you contribute to our mainspace more than your userspace. This policy was instated to promote people helping out in the mainspace, and also to control strain on our server. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, after all, so help us out by contributing to some articles before coming back to your personal userpage. The more often you edit in the mainspace, the more you will be allowed to edit your userpage. Thanks! --オリナル TheOriginalOne 19:42, 19 August 2013 (UTC)

While you haven't edit your userpage more than three times, you haven't edited the mainspace at all in the past week. The userspace policy requires that you can only do a maximum of three userpage edits a day, with some exceptions for pages that are being prepared for the mainspace, and you must have at least one more mainspace edit than you do userpage edits. Please make sure that before you edit your userpage again, you edit the mainspace first. Thank you. --It's Funktastic~!話してください 19:59, 19 August 2013 (UTC)
Attention! If you have not read the previous warnings, please read them now! You had already edited your userpage three times today and now you did it a fourth time. This violates the userspace policy. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 22:44, 19 August 2013 (UTC)

"Transferring information"

Don't assume that a Pokémon cannot learn a TM move in Gen VI just because the Pokémon has not a check mark in the move article. Usually it simply means that nobody hasn't checked whether the Pokémon can learn the move in Gen VI or not. If the Pokémon really couldn't learn a TM move anymore in Gen VI, the last parameter in that Pokémon's moveentry template would be |no .---Den Zen 22:55, 14 June 2014 (UTC)
