Toshio Tanigami
Toshio Tanigami (Japanese: 谷上敏夫 Tanigami Toshio) was an author and artist from Japan born in the Ishikawa Prefecture on February 12, 1959 and passed away on May 25, 2008. His first manga was The Fighter which was published in Shonen Jump in 1982. Toshio's Pokémon related works was illustrating manga adaptations of the Pokémon movies for CoroCoro, adapting The Power of One, Spell of the Unown: Entei, Celebi: The Voice of the Forest and Pokémon Heroes: Latios & Latias. Notably, all his Pokémon manga were only released in the CoroCoro magazines and were not released in a collective volume anywhere in the world, making his Pokémon related works all CoroCoro exclusives. Toshio has illustrated other Nintendo manga for CoroCoro, including a CoroCoro exclusive The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time manga.
