Starter Boxes
Is it alright to combine the Fennekin, Chespin, and Froakie boxes into one section? Seeing as there's nothing major distinguishing any of them enough to make it worth having a separate header for each. Also I should add the Sneak Peek tins from BW era are listed underneath one header. --The Truth aka Relicant 15:07, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
- You cannot just ask a question on a talk page, and do what you asked 4 minutes later, instead of waiting for a reply. Do not do that. Each of these products were given different names. They are given different price stickers on store shelves. They each have their own set of contents, their own promotional cards. They all are linked to differently because they have separate names. You may bring up the Sneak-Peek Tins as evidence against this. Those tins aren't the same situation. Those tins are not each given a separate name to be separate headings. They are considered 1 item. You may try to bring up Theme Decks. Theme decks aren't the same situation. Those each get their own separate pages due to their names. They go under one heading here. I spent weeks developing a perfect system for merchandise. As Head of TCG, to have my intentions and hopes for a TCG page just completely dashed out by some careless revert as I am writing a reply is offensive and infuriating; these merchandise pages are one of three TCG related things we have on Bulbapedia that cannot be found elsewhere online and are praised highly within the TCG community, both online and offline, and they are highly monitored and maintained by me. Wait more than 7 minutes for a reply before you decide to start a reversion war, especially with an Editorial Board member, especially the one in charge of the section you have qualms with. - Boom Reshiram.
- Sneak-Peek Tins. The only things that prevent them from being the same item is the card and figure. My argument is completely justified. --The Truth aka Relicant 17:32, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
- To quote my earlier post "You may bring up the Sneak-Peek Tins as evidence against this. Those tins aren't the same situation. Those tins are not each given a separate name to be separate headings. They are considered 1 item." The requirement, as stated before, is that they need to have a separate name and separate contents, not just the separate contents. - What were you expecting?! For ALL the boxes to be called Froakie Box? Watch. Just watch. They'll consider them Kalos Starter Boxes towards release. --The Truth aka Relicant 17:38, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
- Also, the pins in the XY Three Pack Pin Blisters are different, shouldn't they be seperated? --The Truth aka Relicant 17:52, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
- Do you not understand what I said? Things with separate pins, figures, promos as contents and separate official names get separate sections. Things that don't have separate official names are unable to have separate section. If you cannot understand this statement--if you question this statement--again, you shouldn;t be editing this article. If you don't understand the main premise behind a certain subject, leave it for the people who do. MaverickNate 18:02, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
- Another contradiction: we must both be tired of this by now.. --The Truth aka Relicant 21:11, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
