Does Throat Chop prevent the use of Clangorous Soulblaze?
From what I can tell, Z-moves bypass conditions that would ordinarily prevent moves of their category and/or class from being selected and/or executed, such as Taunt and Heal Block, allowing the move to be used regardless. I'm curious to know whether this extends to Throat Chop being unable to prevent Clangorous Soulblaze, the sound-based signature Z-move of Kommo-o, from being executed. (I'm currently designing a sound-based Z-move of my own for one of my fakemon, so I need to know whether the general principle of Z-moves bypassing specific execution blocks such as Throat Chop extends to non-status Z-moves or not.) --Luigifan 21:41, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
