The syrup Surskit secretes....
Is apparently a Japanese claim about Water Striders, presumably an urban legend of sorts to explain its name Amenbo, which literally means candy boy[1]. "Japanese claim that the water strider smells like sweet malt syrup. ... " [2] This idea is also present in the Animal Crossing's description "Some say pond skaters smell like candy" [3] And yes, this is relevant because its described in its Dex entry, this is why it gets Sweet Scent and Honey as a DexNav held item in OR/AS. Wild Surskit with Mud Shot?? How can it be?
I just bought Alpha Sapphire (pretty late, I know) and captured a Surskit, and the only move it knew was Mud Shot and NOT Bubble. Now, sometime later, when I wanted to take a look at Surskit stats and moveset I saw that Mud Shot is an Egg move. I even went back and checked the wild Surskit, all normal, all with Bubble. Is it unheard of? Could mine be some kind of glitch or bug? I can provide you with pictures if you're doubtful--Godshawk (talk) 20:11, 22 June 2016 (UTC)

Net Ball trivia
Surskit's trivia mentions how it fits both types Net Ball has an advantage over; is this still relevant, since we have other new Bug/Water types? (Four of them?) Should it stay here, be deleted, or also carry over to the other Pokemon? KingisNitro (talk) 19:44, 1 March 2017 (UTC)
