Move category

I've got a question about the physical/special sorting in this article. In Generation III, the only generation in which the "jam" effect existed, the attacks weren't split up yet. At that time, all Fire-, Grass-, Water-, Psychic-, Electric-, Dark-, and Ice-type moves were all special. Therefore, I don't think it's all that necessary to list what the specific moves are now.

Not only that, but it's not like whether they are physical or special moves impacted its contest effect. Kevin Y (talk) 05:55, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Variable Jamming

In ORAS, Earthquake, which has a Jamming of 1 in its description, actually halves the appeal of all preceding Pokémon not protected from Jamming, rounded down, and completely removes all appeal from any Pokémon which loses double the amount of Jamming because of its move, like any that have used Draco Meteor, Petal Dance, Dragon Ascent and so on, even if the appeal is odd. If a Pokémon has 0 or negative appeal, it will still lose one more heart (get another black heart), but it rarely actually removes 1 heart. In addition, some moves do more Jamming if the affected Pokémon used a move of the same category as the move, like Double Kick. What other special cases are there, and should this be in the article?
