Is it really necessary to indicate that Earthquake has no effect on Flying-types? If so, why don't all the other Ground-type moves' pages say so? Ketsuban 23:49, 23 Apr 2005 (UTC)

It says Earthquake does not make contact, yet I've been paralyzed by Static when using my Garchomp's Earthquake against Pikachu to test whether the ability can paralyze Ground-type Pokemon. Static paralyzes on contact, so... --ZellMurasame 06:00, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

Colosseum?

In my Colosseum copy, my parnter doesn't get hit. Lovely Rose 19:52, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

It's a Flying-type, it has Levitate, it used Protect or Detect, it actually missed because of lowered Accuracy, your game is broken, you remember wrong. Pick the best alternative. EQ hits all. UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 19:59, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

Trivia

"*Earthquake has the highest fixed attack power of any move with 100% accuracy and no drawbacks (tied with Judgment). This is mitigated by the sheer number of Pokémon immune to ground type moves by being Flying-type or having Levitate." Isn't this true for Psycho Break too? U2kheim 22:48, 27 November 2010 (UTC)

Psycho Break's drawback: only Mewtwo (and Smeargle) can have it legitimately. TTEchidna 23:15, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
If that is considered a drawback then Judgment should be removed from the section too. I think it should be rearranged to (tied with Judgment and Psycho Break) U2kheim 00:20, 28 November 2010 (UTC)

Banned move?

Should I add to the trivia section that this move is never used in the anime anymore because of AG101 coming out right after those earthquakes in 2004? It seems obvious that the writers are avoiding using it. Janis 06:06, 27 August 2010 (UTC)

I already did that and it was removed for being (although it's obviously true) speculation..hmph Ataro 06:09, 27 August 2010 (UTC)

Update: I added that it has not been seen in the anime since the unaired 2004 episode and I left out speculation as to why that is. I think it is a pertinent piece of trivia. Janis

God Damn this article.

The learnlist tables are too big and take way too much space. I suggest we either:
A) Hide them
B) Move them to a separate page that shows the learnlist tables of older generations (I-IV) and show the most recent one only (Gen V). Like how the learnlist tables on Pokémon article have only Gen V information and having links to previous generations. This way the page would load faster as there isn't alot of data to load up.

The staff's actually been hard at work to fix this issue cause yeah, it sucks. Once it's ready, it should make the move pages much easier to access. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 06:03, 22 April 2011 (UTC)

Other Generation images

Theyre all animated but for some reason they don't show a still image of the move for those of us whose browsers don't support moving images. Can something be done about this? Toon Ganondorf (t c) 00:23, 30 December 2011 (UTC)

The first two generations, the move animation is literally the whole screen shaking side to side. The still frame is mid-move - the frames are slightly off center. The third generation is very similar, but some parts move relative to each other (Notice the Diglett is to one side of its circle of ground). The fourth generation they added some small pieces of rock around the Pokemon. All four are unfortunately very subtle when viewed as a still image. Werdnae (talk) 01:35, 30 December 2011 (UTC)

Side games

I'm not sure if this is the place to put a query like this but, do you think we should have animations of moves being used in side games like Mystery Dungeon? Frenchhorn 18:04, 8 January 2012 (UTC)

Rescue Team.

...it just activated Poison Point. Eridanus (talk) 08:05, 30 July 2014 (UTC)
