Terminology
It would be really helpful if this page could explain where the names "dungeon status" and "floor status" are used. Based on the move description of Mud Sport, it seems to refer to it as the "floor's status" consistently. I also wonder whether there's a distinction between "floor status" and "dungeon status" (e.g. weather counts as the latter but not the former), but that's difficult to assess without an explanation of where these terms are used. --SnorlaxMonster 06:17, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
- "Dungeon status" is the term used in the main menu. Other terms are used inconsistently. Floor status tends to be used in move descriptions such as Mud Sport and Water Sport. But Mud Sport and Water Sport also use other terms such as "Mud Sport floor", "Mud Sport status" or even "Water Sport condition". "Condition" is also used for other moves like Electric Terrain and Magic Room, as well as weather. Weather moves use terms like "floor's weather" and "condition". Ban Seed's description uses "status condition on the floors." So I guess, "floor status" and "condition" are used in move/item descriptions. --Wowy(talk) 06:55, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
