Is Ursula's Gabite in that image using Draco Meteor or Dragon Rage? For the page is for Dragon Rage, but the image says it is Draco Meteor.Muk-a-Matic--Maketh the Muk go round... 09:18, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
- Whoever uploaded the image was wrong. Ursula's Gabite used Dragon Rage. User:Werdnae (talk) 09:24, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
- Image moved accordingly. —darklordtrom 09:30, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
Thanks. Could you also change the image page's summary, Dark Lord Trombinator? Muk-a-Matic --Maketh the Muk go round... 22:28, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
STAB
Is this move actually enhanced by STAB? Because someone put it in bold. --☯ *Ɣℯ№ӎօṫհ* ☯ 19:24, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
Critical hit
Is this move affected by critical hit chance? Someone had said that when they were playing Pokémon Crystal, Dragon Rage got a critical-strike chance and dealt more than 40 damage. It might be a glitch, but I'm asking here anyway.--Starman125 (talk) 20:36, 12 July 2012 (UTC)
Kyurem?
In M15, Kyurem uses a move that resembles Fusion Flare in all of its formes, but it can't do that legally. I'm assuming this move it uses is Dragon Rage, but it could also just be a move error. Anyone know which one it is? MatchMaster (talk) 22:09, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
Endure?
If a Pokemon with less than 40 HP under the effects of endure is hit by Dragon Rage, does it faint, or go to 1 HP? Schiffy (talk) 14:53, 4 November 2012 (UTC)
Technician
Is this move affected by that ability?--Elveonora (talk) 14:00, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
40 damage
In Gen. II, the move is listed as ATTK/40, so why do we list it as ATTK/-? Bob the Wikipedian (talk) 23:29, 5 June 2019 (UTC)
- Its power is listed as "—" in the latest games, and we always use a move's most recent stats. ~ Dannyboy601 (talk) 12:21, 9 June 2019 (UTC)
Type Immunity, Generation I
In Generation I, Dragon Rage would ignore type immunities, similar to Sonic Boom. Should the Generation I and II heading be separated and clarified? Or because there is no reason for this to occur in the base games, should it be left as-is? --Tsokio (talk) 15:10, 9 September 2023 (UTC)
- Perhaps I'm forgetting something but I don't think any Pokémon were immune to Dragon type attacks back then, the only type that are immune are Fairy and they weren't introduced until Gen 6--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 15:14, 9 September 2023 (UTC)
- No, you're right. There's no reason for it to even come up in the base game. But it and Sonic Boom both follow the same principles, so if it were to come up, it would ignore type immunity. Or maybe that line about it ignoring type immunity should be removed, since it can't happen in Generations I and II. Tsokio (talk) 15:26, 9 September 2023 (UTC)
- I'm not sure many people would read it as "works different than SonicBoom", and I'm not sure how it would matter anyway (it's merely technical..)
- If there are better ways to say it than we currently do, I'd be happy to hear them.. but I don't really see a problem. As you said, it can't happen in the game at all, so you can say: Dragon Rage doesn't ignore type immunity in any generation (except it didn't matter until Generation VI); there is no functional change to the move (neither in Generation II, nor Generation VI).
