2000-2001 Tournament Format

Because there's a lengthy bit of history of Prop 15, I can't say it's exactly appropriate to cover it all on THIS article. So for now I'm leaving a blurb about Prop 15 on this article as a reminder to create a new article covering the 2000-2001 tournament season, namely:

  • Unlimited format during the 2000 West Coast and East Coast Super Trainer Showdown
  • Prop 15 Format used during the 2001 East Coast Super Trainer Showdown.

But I'll get to that later. -- Nick15 (talk) 17:22, 20 November 2015 (UTC)

Based on the dates involved, the Legendary Collection expansion was legal at the very end of the Rocket-On Modified Format. I remember it being that way, however I also remember there being no major events (or as was typical in my area, local events) to really do anything involving the very last set released during Rocket-On Modified. I believe most were already testing for Neon Modified even if it wasn't going into effect for another few months at that time. Otakutron (talk) 16:56, 22 March 2016 (UTC)

There was at least this event that played with Legendary Collection cards. --Froggy25 (talk) 00:29, 23 March 2016 (UTC)

Was Prop 15 really used for the 2001 East Coast Super Trainer Showdown? According to Jason Klaczynski, that tournament used the 2001 - 2002 Modified format (source). Unless I'm misunderstanding his blog post, that is.

End date of TR-on

I just noticed Nick15 reverted my edit where I changed the end date of the TR-on format. Last Chance Qualifier, which was held on August 2 2002, used the TR-on format. World Championships, which started on August 3 2002, used the Neo-on format. No more sanctioned TR-on tournaments were held after that date. --Froggy25 (talk) 00:47, 23 March 2016 (UTC)

Banned Not Rotated

Seems like a pretty big different but a very small edit: very few cards have been banned in the history of the Pokémon TCG, and the entire point of them being banned was to remove them from organized play before they would otherwise have rotated out. Otakutron (talk) 15:30, 23 May 2016 (UTC)
